Welcome to the Golden Empire Arabian Horse Society. We were established in September of 1984 in Bakersfield, California and we are affiliated with the Arabian Horse Association within Region 2 in the Southern San Joaquin Valley. We have 3 original members still very active in GEAHS. Over the years we have welcomed many new members and because of our members our club has become a rich mix of interests and personalities. Many have forged lasting friendships.

We are dedicated to the promotion of the Arabian Horse as an all around, show, riding, endurance and family horse. Within our club we have many successful show people and horses, endurance riders, breeders, trainers and people that just enjoy the relationship they have with their Arabian Horses.

During the year we sponsor several activities such as a fall Play Day that is open to anyone whether or not you own an Arabian. We have all sorts of fun classes and some sorta serious classes. In the spring we sponsor and manage an Open Dressage Show. We also hold seminars and trail rides throughout the year. Visit our Activities page for some pictures of some of our fun times. We also have a very fun Christmas party in December, but were having so much fun at our last one eating and opening presents that no one remembered to take pictures.
